Each of the third-party service providers listed above maintains its own privacy and security practices. By submitting information through the Site or communicating with us, you understand that your data may be processed and stored by these providers on our behalf.

How and With Whom We Share Personal Information

Service providers (hosting, email, course platform, analytics, payment processors, security/anti-fraud, customer-support tools, ManyChat). These parties are contractually obligated to safeguard your data.
Advertising/analytics partners (e.g., Meta/Facebook/Instagram, Google/YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok) to measure performance and show relevant ads. These partners may set cookies/pixels and infer interests across sites.
Law enforcement/regulators if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Corporate transactions (merger, acquisition, reorganization), where data transfer is necessary.
Third-party behavioral tracking: Enabled as described above.
If you make your information available to third parties through our Site, we are not responsible for their use.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards and limit access to authorized personnel and contractors under confidentiality obligations. The Site uses HTTPS/SSL.
Payments:
All purchases are processed by PCI-compliant payment gateways. We currently use Stripe and may add PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google/Android Pay. Payment details are not stored or processed on our servers.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the Site at your own risk.
Cookies, Pixels, and Embedded Tools
We and certain third parties use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, analyze traffic, personalize content or emails, and support advertising/retargeting. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling some cookies may limit Site functionality. For Google tools, you can also use Google Ad Settings or the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
We use cookies to:
remember preferences and selections
analyze traffic and usage
personalize content/emails
support advertising/retargeting on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google (including YouTube)
Embedded third-party tools:
Certain embedded tools (e.g., Canva for interactive toolkits, ManyChat for chat automation/opt-ins) may set their own cookies or collect limited interaction data consistent with their policies.
Accounts, Memberships, and Password-Protected Pages
If you create an account or receive a password (e.g., Mighty Networks, password-protected toolkits), you are responsible for safeguarding it and for activities under your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use. Do not share your login.
Access credentials are personal and non-transferable. If someone else would like access to content, please direct them to sign up or purchase their own access.
Google Ads & Analytics
We use Google Analytics (including Demographics and Interests reports) and may use Google Ads/YouTube. Google and its partners may use first- and third-party cookies to measure interactions and ad performance.
Opt-outs: Google Ad Settings, the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out, or the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
California Privacy (CPRA / “Do Not Sell or Share”)
If you are a California resident, you have rights to know, access, delete (with exceptions), correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and not be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
We do not sell Personal Information for money. Because we use ads/retargeting, CPRA may treat that as “sharing.”
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
To exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information, submit a request via our contact form: https://savagementalhealth.com/contact.
If your browser or device sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal indicating that you prefer to limit data sharing, we will honor that preference to the extent that our systems or service providers support it.
This opt-out does not affect other uses of your information permitted by law (e.g., to provide requested services, complete transactions, or comply with legal obligations).
Do Not Track (DNT):
There is no industry consensus for DNT; we do not respond to DNT. We honor GPC where required.
Children’s Privacy (COPPA)
We do not specifically market to or knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. Do not use the Site if you are under 13.
If you believe your child has provided Personal Information, contact us at https://savagementalhealth.com/contact so we can delete it.
Educational Nature of Information and Non-Clinical Use
The Site does not collect information for medical or clinical purposes.
Savage Mental Health Education & Resources LLC provides educational content and resources only and does not offer psychotherapy, clinical assessment, or healthcare services.
If you choose to share information about your mental health, diagnosis, treatment, or personal experiences in any way—such as through a contact form, message, email, comment, or social-media interaction—that information is not considered part of a healthcare record and is not protected under healthcare privacy laws such as HIPAA. We do not use or retain such information for clinical purposes, and your disclosure does not create a therapist–client or healthcare relationship.
Purchasing, downloading, or interacting with any product, course, workshop, or resource that discusses mental-health topics, terminology, or diagnoses does not constitute a confidential or therapeutic interaction, nor does it imply that any personal information you provide is being handled under clinical confidentiality standards. These educational offerings are intended for general informational purposes only and are not individualized psychological or medical advice.
Tags, purchase records, and expressed interests collected through our email, customer-management systems, or other means are maintained for educational and business purposes only. This information is not considered medical or clinical data and is not governed by healthcare privacy laws.
For example, mentioning that you experience anxiety, depression, or another mental-health condition in a communication, form, or comment does not constitute a confidential clinical disclosure. Any information shared in this context is processed in accordance with our general data-privacy practices and is treated as non-clinical, educational correspondence.
International Visitors (GDPR / UK GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent); and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Legal bases we rely on may include: consent; contract necessity; legitimate interests (e.g., to run our Site, improve services, and market to existing users); and legal obligations.
International transfers: Your data may be processed in the United States or other countries with different laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
To exercise rights, use our contact form: https://savagementalhealth.com/contact
Data Retention
We retain Personal Information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, including legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.
If you request deletion, we will comply unless retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes (e.g., tax/audit).
Data Breach Response
If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you via email within 10 business days of becoming aware of it, consistent with applicable law.
Third-Party Links and Tools
The Site may include links to, or integrations with, external websites and third-party services such as Stripe, PayPal, ConvertKit, ManyChat, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google/YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
These tools and platforms are operated by their respective providers and are governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service.
While we use certain third-party tools to operate and improve our Site, your interactions with those services—such as clicking a link, making a payment, subscribing to emails, or viewing embedded content—are subject to the terms and privacy policies of the respective providers.
Savage Mental Health Education & Resources LLC is not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices of any third-party site or service.
